Margaret Edds, '64, appeared and spoke about her latest book – Finding Sara: A Daughter’s Journey – at the Southern Festival of Books in Nashville. She also participated in a panel discussion called Songs of Home in the library of the State Capitol.


After graduating from Madison High School, Margaret attended Tennessee Wesleyan College where she graduated before migrating to Virginia. She was a reporter and then editorial writer for the Norfolk Virginian-Pilot, the State’s largest newspaper.

Margaret’s other books include An Expendable Man: The Near Execution of Earl Washington, Jr., Free at Last and Claiming the Dream.
